Job summary

Commit Learning Schoolhouse is seeking a Kindergarten Care Assistant Centre Supervisor to support daily operations and lead the team in the Centre Supervisor’s absence. The role focuses on providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for kindergarten children to thrive.

Candidates should have supervisory experience in early childhood settings, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for holistic child development. Islandwide locations require flexible scheduling and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in preschool, kindergarten, or Kindergarten Care settings.
• Supervisory experience in early childhood education environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
• Organised, responsible, patient, and adaptable to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily centre operations and supervise staff in the absence of the Centre Supervisor.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to Kindergarten Programme Staff and Support Staff.
• Ensure safety, well-being, and supervision of all children by enforcing policies and licensing standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised learning environment supporting development and safety.
• Build and sustain relationships with children, parents, school partners, and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, onboarding, and daily operational activities for smooth centre functioning.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with child safeguarding policies and health and safety procedures.
