Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Social Work Associate / Programme Assistant in Singapore to support THRIVE and Club Explore across after-school programmes. You will work with staff, volunteers, children, and families to ensure safe, engaging activities and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Social Work or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience working with children, youth, volunteers, or community programmes is an advantage.
• Demonstrates passion for supporting children and families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organised and detail-oriented with good administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of children’s programmes.
• Prepare programme materials, attendance records, and logistics.
• Facilitate learning activities under supervision.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Assist with behaviour management and group engagement.
• Maintain attendance, consent, evaluation, and programme records.
• Coordinate volunteer attendance and deployment.
• Provide operational support and guidance on programme procedures.
• Escalate safeguarding concerns promptly.
