Job summary

You will ensure consistent taste, quality, and portion control, uphold food safety and hygiene standards, minimize waste, and collaborate with the team. Weekend and public holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Karnataka and Bangalore cuisine to prepare authentic dishes.
• Experience preparing dosa, idli, vada, rice dishes, curries, chutneys and sambar.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Exhibit strong teamwork and uphold food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Karnataka and Bangalore-style dishes to meet traditional taste and presentation standards
• Execute daily food preparation and cooking tasks to support smooth kitchen operations
• Maintain consistent taste, quality, and portion control for all dishes served
• Apply proper food hygiene, storage, and kitchen cleanliness practices to ensure safety and compliance
• Minimize food wastage through efficient ingredient use and kitchen management
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a productive and hygienic kitchen environment
• Adapt to shift work, including weekends and public holidays, to meet operational demands
