Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd on Jurong Island is seeking an embedded maintenance/engineering professional to provide technical support for electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems. You will assist in planning, executing, and coordinating plant projects while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in a relevant field, strong knowledge of E&I and process controls, and the ability to work under pressure in a chemical plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in instrumentation, electrical, process control or similar.
• Min 3–5 years of experience in maintenance or engineering in a relevant industry.
• Sound knowledge in E&I and process controls.
• Must be willing to work on Jurong Island.
• Field work in chemical plant environment, handling highly hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for electrical, instrumentation and automation systems.
• Support maintenance and production teams in troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Assist in planning and executing plant improvement, maintenance and projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and vendors for project execution.
• Monitor and improve performance and reliability of E&I systems.
• Stay updated on industry practices and apply beneficial improvements.
• Support safety, quality, environmental and change management requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to maintenance and operations personnel.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide technical support.
