Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks Engineers / Senior Engineers to design, implement, test, and support network and data communication systems for Rail & Metro projects locally and overseas.

Role requires 1–5 years in network engineering with hands-on WAN/LAN, IP-MPLS, OSPF knowledge and experience with Cisco/Huawei/Nokia/Alcatel-Lucent/Extreme equipment; CCNA/CCNP/HCIA/HCIP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in network engineering, implementation, or support.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, IP-MPLS, OSPF and related networking technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Huawei, Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent or Extreme equipment is an advantage.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/HCIA/HCIP are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and commission network and data communication systems.
• Support POC, FAT, system integration and SAT activities.
• Configure and deploy WAN/LAN network equipment (routers/switches).
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Perform network testing, commissioning, and site implementation.
• Maintain network documentation and system configurations.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and suppliers to meet requirements and timelines.
• Support network availability, security and access control.

About the Role

We are looking for Engineers / Senior Engineers to design, implement, test, and support network and data communication systems for Rail & Metro transportation projects, locally and overseas.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and commission network and data communication systems.
• Support Proof of Concept (POC), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), system integration, and System Acceptance Test (SAT) activities.
• Configure and deploy WAN/LAN network equipment, including routers and switches.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot system and connectivity issues.
• Perform network testing, commissioning, and site implementation.
• Maintain network documentation, technical reports, and system configurations.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
• Support network availability, security, and access control requirements.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in network engineering, implementation, or support.
