Job summary

A*STAR RESEARCH ENTITIES is seeking a junior scientist to join the ImmunoDiagnostics team to support product development and clinical laboratory activities. The role emphasizes first-principles thinking, interpretation of results, and improvement suggestions within a collaborative environment.

You will contribute to assay development, verification and validation and early-stage manufacturing activities, gaining exposure to translating scientific concepts into robust diagnostic products.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medical Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Document records and SOPs in compliance with quality systems and data integrity requirements.
• Prepare specimens for analysis.
• Execute assays, analyze data and report results using standard procedures.
• Support lab operations including equipment calibration, qualification and maintenance.
• Assist with lab and manufacturing activities, including purchasing of consumables.
