  • Prepare specimens for analysis.
  • Execute assays, analyze data and report results using standard procedures.
  • Support lab operations including equipment calibration, qualification and maintenance.
  • Assist with lab and manufacturing activities, including purchasing of consumables.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior scientist to join the ImmunoDiagnostics team, supporting the product development and clinical laboratory activities. This role is suited for individual with strong scientific training who are keen to apply first-principal thinking and engage critically with experimental work. The successful candidate will contribute to assay development, verification and validation and early-stage manufacturing activities.

Beyond execution, the role involves understand the rationale behind experimental designs, interpreting results thoughtfully, and suggesting improvements where appropriate. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, gaining exposure to how scientific concepts translate into robust diagnostic products. This position offers an opportunity to develop both technical skills and scientific judgement in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsiblity
  • Responsible for proper documentation records and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in compliance with confidential information requirement, quality system, regulatory guidelines and data integrity requirement.
  • Responsible to prepare specimens for analysis.
  • Assay execution, analysis and reporting using sophisticated procedures and equipment.
  • Manage laboratory and manufacturing support operation including equipment calibration, qualification and maintenance.
  • Manage and perform lab operations activities, including general laboratory and equipment housekeeping, calibration and qualifications, and consumables purchasing.
Requirements
Educations
  • Degree in Medical Biotechnology, Biomedical Science,Biotechnology, or a related field.
Experience
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in protein-based assay or molecular techniques; experience in clinical laboratory settings is advantageous but training will be provided.
  • Laboratory skills in techniques in pre-analytics and analytics, including basic knowledge and hand-on experience in protein- and molecular-based techniques such as ELISA, flow cytometry, mass spectrometry assay or PCR.Preferably with instrumental operational & troubleshooting skills and assay design experience.
  • Familiarity with development activities, optimization, troubleshooting and/or clinical laboratory workflows.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Computer literate - knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
