Job summary

Aiper, the leading smart robotic pool cleaner brand, is hiring a Junior Algorithm Engineer in Singapore. You will work on navigation and control algorithms for surface/underwater robots, improving path planning and obstacle avoidance while integrating multi-sensor data.

Strong C++ skills, Linux experience, and ROS/OpenCV familiarity are essential. You will participate in sensor calibration, data collection, and testing, and contribute to technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Automation, Control Engineering, Navigation, Guidance and Control, Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or related fields.
• Proficient in C++ programming with Linux experience; familiar with Eigen and OpenCV.
• Familiar with ROS (Robot Operating System).
• Strong mathematical foundation including linear algebra, nonlinear optimization and Kalman filtering.
• Experience in robot navigation/control algorithm development (competitions, research projects or open-source).
• Knowledge of multi-sensor fusion (LiDAR, IMU, ultrasonic, etc.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Navigation Algorithm Development for surface/underwater robotic pool cleaners.
• Develop global path planning, local obstacle avoidance, and dynamic-environment-adaptive algorithms.
• Optimize robot algorithms and fix issues.
• Calibrate sensors, collect data, and perform system integration testing.
• Write technical documentation.
