Job summary

Rolls-Royce Singapore is seeking an Assistant Engineer to support the Production Planning & Control team in coordinating production plans, tracking orders in the ERP system, and working with Production, Warehouse, and Procurement to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or bachelor’s in engineering, with up to 3 years of experience, and strong Excel skills; SAP/Power BI experience is a plus in a global manufacturing setting focused on lean processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering.
• 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, operations, or engineering support.
• Fresh graduates with relevant industrial training or internship encouraged.
• Basic understanding of production planning, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
• Monitor production order progress and update planning status in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Production Controllers to ensure production schedules are followed.
• Escalate production delays, material shortages, or scheduling issues to the PPC Manager.
• Maintain accurate production planning records and inventory data within the ERP system.
