Job summary

SCOR Services Asia Pacific Pte Ltd seeks a Portfolio Manager Operations to oversee the administration of insurance and reinsurance accounts and contracts, from data setup and bookings to claims handling and related cash flow management.

You will support underwriters in administrative tasks, ensure accurate entry of terms and conditions, monitor accounts, process payments, and maintain filing in the Document Management System while coordinating with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in (re-/insurance) accounting and underwriting assistance and/or controlling.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Power Query).
• Business Objects and BI tools beneficial.
• Power BI and Tableau skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Entries (treaties) in accounting and underwriting systems and all modifications.
• Enter T&C into the accounting system with accuracy.
• Check contractual T&C, submit to Underwriters for signature.
• Check and process accounts and claims advices.
• Clarify discrepancies with underwriters, claim experts, cedents, brokers.
• Manage low complexity accounts under guidance of a senior Manager.
• Manage cashflow including setting up client bank accounts and processing payments.
• Support internal controls and assist Underwriters with controls.
• Monitor accounts with internal reports and provide data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with sanctions/embargos and flag issues.
• Maintain proper filing of underwriting, accounting and claims docs in DMS.
• Maintain good communication with clients via meetings.
