Job summary

AUSTRIATECH AUTOMATION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a junior engineer to assist in development, testing, and modification of PLC, HMI, and SCADA software. You will support system installation, integration, testing, and commissioning activities at the factory and site.

The role involves FAT/SAT participation, documentation, and collaboration with internal teams and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NTec in electrical/automation/mechatronics or related discipline.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience or internship in PLC/HMI/SCADA.
• Basic knowledge of PLC/HMI/SCADA programming and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with electrical drawings and control panels is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and work on-site to support testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in development, testing, and modification of PLC, HMI, SCADA software.
• Support installation, integration, testing, and commissioning at factory and site.
• Participate in FAT and SAT and troubleshooting activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, wiring diagrams, I/O lists, and test records.
• Ensure work complies with project requirements, standards, and safety and cybersecurity policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to resolve issues.
