Job summary

OCBC Group in Singapore is seeking a Junior Gold Trader to join the Global Markets Division. You will execute bullion trades across spot, forwards, and swaps while providing pricing to institutional clients and hedging exposures with OTC forwards/swaps and futures.

You will coordinate physical operations, manage vault positions, and support senior traders in risk management, aiming to deliver robust investment solutions for clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and investment strategies.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with critical thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute physical bullion trades across spot, forwards, and swaps.
• Provide two-way pricing to institutional clients.
• Hedge exposures using OTC forwards/swaps and CME/COMEX futures.
• Manage positions across global vaults and risk limits.
• Coordinate bar shipments, customs clearance, insurance, and transport.
• Maintain vault inventory and Good Delivery compliance.
