DIOT-SIACI Asia, a growing insurance broker in Singapore, invites applications for a Junior Finance Assistant. You will support the Finance team with AR/AP processes, cash receipts, and journal entries in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role suits an early-career finance professional with strong Excel skills and attention to detail. The position requires four on-site days per week in Singapore, with clear growth and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Organised and deadline-driven.
• Good communication in English; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular reconciliations of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) ledgers against bank statements and underlying records.
• Process and allocate incoming cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner across client and insurer accounts.
• Prepare and post accurate system entries and journal transactions in the accounting system.
• Support the recording of AP invoices and AR billings, ensuring completeness and correct coding.
• Assist in preparing periodic financial reports and reconciliation summaries for management review.
• Run and monitor routine finance controls (e.g. aged AR/AP reviews, exception reports) and flag discrepancies for follow-up.
• Liaise with internal teams and external parties to resolve reconciliation queries and outstanding items.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities as required.
