Job summary

Marex in Singapore is seeking a junior energy broker to cover Chinese institutional clients across energy commodity derivatives. You will learn from senior brokers from day one, build client relationships, and grow your own book over time in a fast-paced, language-driven environment.

No prior broking experience is required; we hire for attitude, language skills and willingness to develop expertise in energy broking. This is an entry-level, client-facing role focused on East Asia clients.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of financial markets helpful; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support senior brokers in covering institutional clients across energy derivatives.
• Communicate with clients in their language by phone, in person and digitally.
• Assist onboarding of new client relationships and maintenance of existing ones.
• Engage with clients on market developments and product activity.
• Collaborate with Operations and Technology teams.
• Contribute to efforts to increase P&L through market analysis.
