Job summary

MSE Consultants Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Junior Design Engineer to assist our civil and structural team with design and analysis for Good Class Bungalows.

You will use Tekla, Tedds, Staad, Plaxis, Esteem, AutoCAD, GStarCAD, 3D and SketchUp to develop models and drawings, coordinate with project directors, perform site inspections, and prepare detailed reports.

Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience or training are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in civil/structural or training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Execute civil and structural engineering design tasks to develop safe and compliant bungalow structures.
• Analyze structural components using engineering software to validate design integrity and performance.
• Utilize design software such as Tekla, Tedds, Staad, Plaxis, Esteem, AutoCAD, GStarCAD, 3D, and SketchUp to produce accurate engineering models and drawings.
• Coordinate with the Project Director and management by providing clear and detailed technical reports.
• Assist engineers in conducting visual on-site inspections and drafting detailed inspection reports following training.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required to support engineering operations.
