Job summary

MSE Technologies (PTE.) LTD. in Singapore seeks a civil/structural engineer to design and analyze bungalow structures, ensuring compliance with codes and standards. You will perform design tasks, analyze components with engineering software, and prepare technical reports for project delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Familiarity with local design standards will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in civil/structural engineering design.
• Familiarity with local design standards and codes to enhance project relevance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute civil and structural engineering design tasks to develop safe and compliant bungalow structures.
• Analyze structural components using engineering software to validate design integrity and performance.
• Apply BS/EU structural design codes specifically for bungalow projects to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Utilize design software such as Tekla, Tedds, Staad, Plaxis, Esteem, AutoCad, GStarCAD and SketchUp to produce accurate engineering models and drawings.
• Collaborate with Project Director and management by providing timely design updates and technical reports.
• Assist senior engineers in conducting visual on-site inspections and drafting detailed inspection reports when required.
