Job summary

SABRINAGOH, Singapore, is hiring a mid‑level Fashion Designer to develop concepts, conduct trend research, and oversee production details. You will work closely with overseas suppliers and create digital content for social platforms. Mandarin is required due to interactions with factories in China.

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Fashion Design with 1–2 years of experience is preferred. Proficiency in Photoshop and Shopify knowledge is helpful for the role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design with 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Skills in fashion design, sewing, drafting, draping, and garment construction.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop; basic photography and MS Office/MacOS knowledge.
• Mandarin required due to communication with overseas factories.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative design concepts reflecting brand vision and seasonal direction.
• Conduct trend research on silhouettes, fabrics, colours, and market preferences.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and measurement charts for production.
• Support fittings, sampling, and collaboration with suppliers to maintain quality.
• Assist sourcing materials for each collection (fabrics, trims, components).
• Oversee production orders and ensure manufacturers follow approved details.
• Produce digital content communicating design stories for social media.
• Create visuals and product-focused content for digital channels to strengthen engagement.
• Coordinate product listings and updates on Shopify with clear descriptions.

• Develop creative design concepts and sketches that reflect the brand’s vision and seasonal direction.
• Conduct trend research on silhouettes, fabrics, colours, and market preferences to support design development.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and measurement charts to guide accurate garment production.
• Support fittings, sampling, and collaboration with suppliers to maintain high-quality standards.
• Assist with sourcing materials, including fabrics, trims, and components, for each collection.
• Oversee production orders and ensure manufacturers follow approved design details and requirements.
• Produce digital content that communicates design stories, behind-the-scenes processes, and collection highlights for use on social media platforms.
• Create visuals, short videos, and product-focused content for digital channels to strengthen brand engagement.
• Coordinate product listings and updates on Shopify, ensuring clear descriptions, accurate material information, and cohesive presentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field, with 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Skills in fashion design, sewing, drafting, draping, garment construction, Adobe Photoshop, basic photography, and familiarity with MS Office/MacOS.
• Understanding of sustainable fashion principles is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with overseas suppliers. Proficiency in Mandarin is required as the role involves frequent communication with factories based in China.
