Love, Bonito in Singapore is seeking a Fashion Designer to drive end-to-end design from concept through to production. You will lead trend research, sketch concepts, and create tech packs while collaborating with sourcing and product teams to build globally appealing collections.

The role

Step into a role where your ideas don't just shape collections - they shape how women around the world feel, express themselves, and move through life with confidence.

As Fashion Designer at Love, Bonito, you'll have a front-row seat to creating designs that resonate globally. From trend research and concept development to sketching, tech packs, fittings, and final execution, you'll lead the end-to-end creation journey behind our collections and bring thoughtful, wearable fashion to life. Beyond designing beautiful pieces, you'll play a key role in building and evolving our Design Department as we scale internationally - helping define the future of a brand that's redefining fashion for Asian women globally.

You should have / be

• A strong entrepreneurial spirit, self starter, extreme initiative and ownership
• A knack for problem solving with an ability to think 'out of the box'; highly adaptable and flexible and ability to adjust and refine when the need arises
• A genuine curiosity to know how things work and how to make them better
• Solid technical know how
• A thoughtful and creative designer
• Solid design knowledge, sensibilities and ability to translate concept into execution
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to lead direction of a project across cross-functional teams.
• Effectively bilingual in Mandarin and English. Proficiency in Chinese is required for this role as you will need to be able to communicate effectively also to our suppliers in China.

• Understand the market, targeted customer personas, and good design principles through research, store visits and customer studies
• Create products that fulfill our brand mission of being modern, relatable, and of good quality & value
• A good eye for fashion, upcoming trends and spotting what resonates with consumers
• Technical Development
• Produce technical drawings, with the ability to create detailed tech packs with accurate measurements
• Partner with other designers in creating seasonal color stories, initial fabric and trims selections
• Actively participate in fit sessions, working with live models and giving comments to suggest fit changes
