Job summary

GENT COMMODITY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an entry-level Trading Desk professional to identify and execute trading opportunities in physical and financial markets. The role requires a proactive analyst with strong communication, able to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced trading environment.

You will conduct market research, coordinate buying/selling activities, develop hedging strategies, and build relationships with clients and suppliers while upholding high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical, commercial and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese to facilitate communication with stakeholders in China.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 0-3 years experience preferred.
• Willing to learn with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze assigned commodities, track market trends and dynamics.
• Coordinate and execute buying and selling activities for commodities.
• Develop upstream and downstream resources and maintain client relationships.
• Formulate hedging strategies using futures and derivatives to manage risk.
• Collaborate to generate reports and insights for decision making.
• Uphold ethical and transparent dealings with customers and suppliers.
• Handle additional tasks per business needs.
