Job summary

Common Man Coffee Roasters in Singapore is hiring a customer-focused team member to learn and grow behind the bar. You’ll dial in espresso, steam milk for latte art, and deliver friendly hospitality in a fast-paced café environment.

Prior café experience is a plus, but no formal barista qualification is required. This role offers hands-on training, opportunities for progression, and a 44-hour work week with supportive development.

Qualifications

• Some café or F&B experience preferred.
• No formal barista qualification needed.
• Coffee curious and keen to learn.
• Positive, reliable and ready to grow.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced café.
• Team player with a service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Dial in espresso and learn basic espresso techniques.
• Steam milk and practice latte art to develop texture.
• Handle bar operations and stay effective during rush hours.
• Serve guests with genuine, friendly hospitality.
• Keep your station clean, organised and ready to go.
• Continue learning and expanding specialty coffee knowledge.
