Job summary

Trulyyy is partnering with a tech giant to hire Backend Engineers in Singapore to develop and optimize large-scale backend services using Go or Java, with a focus on real-time risk control and fraud detection.

You will work with Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and Elasticsearch, and collaborate with Product, Data, and Risk teams to build scalable platform capabilities while improving system performance, reliability, and availability. Mandarin-speaking applicants are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Golang or Java.
• Experience with high-traffic platforms, distributed systems, or large-scale backend services.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL, Kafka, Redis, and/or Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with microservices and distributed architecture.
• E-commerce, payments, fintech experience is highly preferred.
• Mandarin Chinese speaking ability is required to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and regional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize large-scale backend services using Golang or Java.
• Build real-time risk control systems for fraud detection and transaction monitoring.
• Develop high-performance services for high-concurrency and low-latency environments.
• Work with technologies such as Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and Elasticsearch.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Risk teams to build scalable platform capabilities.
• Contribute to system performance, reliability, and availability improvements.
