Job summary

TRULYYY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, develop and optimize large-scale backend services using Golang or Java, with a focus on high-concurrency and low-latency environments.

You'll work closely with Product, Data, and Risk teams to build real-time systems and scalable platform capabilities, leveraging MySQL, Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch; Mandarin-speaking stakeholders collaborate regionally.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Golang or Java.
• Experience with high-traffic platforms, distributed systems, or large-scale backend services.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL, Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with microservices and distributed architecture.
• E-commerce/payments/fintech experience is highly preferred.
• Mandarin Chinese speaking ability is required to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and regional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize large-scale backend services using Golang or Java.
• Build real-time risk control systems for fraud detection and transaction monitoring.
• Develop high-performance services for high-concurrency and low-latency environments.
• Work with Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and Elasticsearch to ensure robust data handling.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Risk teams to enable scalable platform capabilities.
• Contribute to system performance, reliability, and availability improvements.
