VEGA PROJECT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Junior AV Service Engineer to provide preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for AV and collaboration systems at customer sites.

This role suits ITE/NITEC fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience who are eager to develop hands‑on skills in AV, customer support, and system maintenance. You will work with senior engineers, perform on-site calls, basic fault diagnosis, and help install, configure,

Qualifications

• NITEC or Higher NITEC in Electronics, Electrical, Infocomm, AV Technology, or related discipline.
• Fresh ITE/NITEC graduates welcome; 1–2 years in AV service or IT support an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of AV equipment, video conferencing, cabling, Windows, Office, and IP networking.
• Able to use basic hand tools and follow technical procedures and service documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, customer focus, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Attend onsite service calls and preventive maintenance visits.
• Perform Level 1 troubleshooting and basic configuration of AV/video conferencing systems.
• Conduct equipment inspections, testing, cable checks, and health verification.
• Assist senior engineers with installation, commissioning, repairs, and complex troubleshooting.
• Prepare service reports and update tickets after visits.
• Provide customer support and basic user guidance; escalate when needed.
• Maintain tools and spare parts; adhere to safety procedures.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest maintenance or upgrade opportunities.
