Quesscorp Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Engineer to support preventive and corrective maintenance of railway trains, mechanical components, and electro-mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, coordinating technicians, and complying with safety standards. Diploma holders in engineering are welcome; no prior experience required, with rotating shifts in Singapore.

• Strong hands-on technical skills and willingness to learn.

About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Engineer to support preventive and corrective maintenance of railway trains, mechanical components, and electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operations.

• Location: Singapore
• Industry: Public Transportation / Railway Engineering
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Working Hours: Rotating Shifts
• Salary: Up to SGD 2,900/month (with AWS + bonus and OT)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on railway trains, mechanical components, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment faults and support repair activities.
• Coordinate and supervise technicians during scheduled maintenance activities.
• Assist with maintenance planning, inspections, and technical documentation.
• Operate maintenance equipment and specialized railway vehicles when trained and authorized.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, maintenance standards, and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• No prior work experience required.
• Good understanding of mechanical systems and basic electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Strong hands-on technical skills and willingness to learn.
• Able to perform physical maintenance duties, including working at heights and in confined working spaces.
• Willing to work rotating shifts and perform assigned maintenance duties.
• Relevant internship or industrial maintenance experience would be an advantage.
