Job summary

Grailverse is seeking a hands-on engineer to dive into the codebase, diagnose issues with AI assistance, and drive the validation of internal AI tool prototypes. You will document iterations, measure impact, and help integrate AI into content pipelines for engineering and narrative teams.

The role emphasizes bug detection, robust writing, and proficiency with modern Git-based workflows, CI/CD basics, and AI productivity tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT.

Qualifications

• Ability to spot bugs and logic errors and clearly communicate issues to senior developers.
• Familiarity with modern development workflows including Git version control and basic CI/CD/deployment processes.
• Hands-on experience with AI productivity tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) for coding or content generation.
• Excellent technical writing and organizational skills.
• Bonus: QA automation, technical writing, or experience as a Prompt Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Dive into our existing codebase and troubleshoot with AI coding assistants.
• Act as the primary tester for internal AI tool prototypes and validate features for production.
• Maintain clear, structured technical documentation and measure AI workflow impact.
• Integrate AI tools into content pipelines to support engineering and narrative teams in high-volume creation.
• Support daily DevOps tasks including GitHub repository management, environment configuration, and deployment.
