Job summary

JAG ENGINEERING (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented accounting assistant to manage daily accounting and finance tasks, including AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliations.

You will enter invoices, prepare monthly closing reports, assist with audits and GST/tax filings, and maintain proper records. Requires at least 1 year of experience, good English, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; MYOB/XERO knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• GCE O Level or Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of MYOB or XERO is advantageous.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, meticulous, resourceful, and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and finance operations (AP/AR/GL, bank reconciliations).
• Data entry of invoices and payment vouchers into the accounting software.
• Prepare monthly reports for closing of accounts.
• Assist audits, corporate tax, GST filing and compliance matters.
• Maintain proper document records and related admin tasks.
