Job summary

Staffhub Group is seeking an entry-level Accountant in Singapore to handle data entry for receipts, payments, and journal entries, and to assist with vouchers and reconciliations. The role supports quarterly GST submissions and MAS-related filings within a small finance team.

You will maintain the Fixed Asset Register, ensure general ledger accuracy, and participate in ad-hoc projects. Independent work with a team focus is required, and meticulous attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in accounting.
• Can work independently and as a team.
• Meticulous, detailed, resourceful and willing to take up additional responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Data entry for receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Raise payment vouchers and journal vouchers for various disbursements for approval.
• Perform bank reconciliation of all bank accounts for the companies.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register and ensure that the sub-ledger tie to the general ledger.
• Prepare and submit Quarterly GST.
• Handle quarterly filing, license application, response to MAS Queries and Surveys.
• Provide support for other ad-hoc projects.
