Job summary

EXCELLENCE SINGAPORE ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking an entry-level accounting assistant in Singapore to support clients with financial data preparation, bank reconciliations, management accounts, and financial statements.

The role also involves computing taxes and GST, with additional ad-hoc tasks as needed. The candidate should have a Diploma in Accountancy or a Degree in Accounting, or be pursuing ACCA/LCCI Higher, and be willing to learn and work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Diploma in accountancy or degree in accounting; ACCA/LCCI considered.
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
• Eager to learn and able to work independently under pressure.
• Positive attitude, meticulous and initiative.
• Possess honesty, integrity and confidentiality.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills; Mandarin an advantage.
• Team Player; able to meet tight schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial data for entry into accounting system.
• Perform bank reconciliations as part of daily tasks.
• Prepare Management Accounts for clients.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Prepare tax computations.
• Prepare Goods and Services Tax computations.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
