Job description

AsiaOne is Singapore’s digital media platform for what’s new, what’s trending, and what’s next. Since 1995, we’ve been covering stories that spark conversations - from hard news to heartland feels. With a reporting team accredited by Singapore’s Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI), AsiaOne remains a trusted voice in a fast-changing media landscape. We cover news, lifestyle and entertainment with a mix of insight, humour, and the energy of a viral comments section. Beyond articles, we tell stories through videos, infographics, comics, and more — breaking down difficult topics with clarity and creativity, and turning them around quickly when they matter most. From fast-moving explainers to on-the-ground perspectives, our multimedia team helps audiences understand not just what’s happening, but why it matters now.

Alongside our editorial work, we collaborate with brands through creative and data-driven partnerships, supported by our dedicated consumer insights and analytics team.

You should be comfortable combing the darkest corners of the internet and scouring the darkest alleys in Singapore, producing content that dominates our users’ watercooler conversations. The ideal candidate is someone who keeps up with the latest social-media news and trends, possesses strong writing and editing skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and good interpersonal skills to build a network of contacts.
