Job summary

Tangspac Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Technical Lead for a leading international bank to oversee equities trading platforms. You will guide a team of engineers, drive end-to-end SDLC, and deliver low-latency, high-performance solutions that support global trading activities.

You should have 12+ years in Java development, 5+ years in leadership within banking environments, and deep expertise in microservices, middleware, and CI/CD practices to ensure production stability and robust

Qualifications

12+ years of hands-on Java development with core Java and low-latency focus.
5+ years of team leadership in banking/financial markets.
Strong microservices architecture, REST APIs and distributed systems experience.
Solid knowledge of middleware technologies (MQ, Kafka, FIX).
Experience with front-office trading systems and production support.
Excellent communication with senior stakeholders and global teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of developers supporting equities trading applications.
Drive end-to-end SDLC from design to production support.
Architect and build Java-based microservices for high-performance trading systems.
Work with middleware technologies including MQ, FIX, and market connectivity.
Partner with traders, quants, and global tech teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Ensure code quality, performance tuning, and system reliability.
Oversee production stability, incident management, and RCA.
