Senior Java Software Engineer

Experience: 8+ years

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer with strong experience in software development, testing, solution design, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deliver high-quality Java applications.
Work with Architects and Business Analysts on technical and functional requirements.
Design scalable solutions using proven design patterns.
Perform code/design reviews and mentor junior developers.
Prepare technical documentation and development estimates.
Define test strategies and support Agile/Scrum delivery.
Monitor code quality and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

8+ years of software development and testing experience.
Strong knowledge of Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Unix shell scripting, and MS SQL Server.
Experience with Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Knowledge of both backend and frontend development.
Experience with Airflow, Control-M, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or ArgoCD.
Strong SQL performance-tuning skills, including SQL Profiler/Query Analyzer.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum.
Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
Experience in enterprise or financial services environments is a plus.
