Job summary

NCS in Singapore is hiring a Software Engineer (Java & OutSystems Preferred) to join client-facing government-grade projects on-site. You design, develop, and maintain modules using Java and OutSystems while following security best practices.

You will integrate low-code with enterprise systems, translate requirements into designs, and collaborate with analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years in application software development using Java technologies or fresh graduate willing to learn Java and related enterprise technologies.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Singaporean citizen due to project requirements.
• Ability to integrate low-code solutions with enterprise systems and legacy applications.
• Proactive and results-driven with strong commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain application modules using Java and OutSystems, following security standards.
• Integrate Outsystems low-code solutions with enterprise systems and ensure data flow across platforms.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and program specifications.
• Collaborate with system analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
• Participate in system integration and technical discussions for end-to-end delivery.
• Support testing activities including system integration testing and UAT.
