Job summary

MAESTRO HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a software engineer to develop and enhance applications with high-performance requirements. You will analyze system needs, design technical solutions for change requests, and perform integration and performance tests to ensure reliability.

The role requires strong Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate expertise, OOAD/UML proficiency, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes for deployment. On-site presence in AMK Area is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE stack and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with OOAD/UML for software design and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance software applications with complex functional and high-performance requirements to support business objectives.
• Analyze system requirements and design technical solutions for software change requests and enhancements to optimize functionality.
• Execute software integration tests and support system integration and performance testing to ensure quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to maintain system stability and availability.
• Maintain and update comprehensive software documentation to support development and operational continuity.
• Apply OOAD and UML to model software solutions effectively.
• Utilize Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JVM, WebLogic, Oracle DB, and SQL Server to build scalable applications.
• Implement software unit testing to validate code quality and functionality.
• Employ in-memory data grid technologies to enhance application performance.
• Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and scalability.
• Participate in the full SDLC to deliver end-to-end software solutions.
• Collaborate on-site as required to support project needs and stakeholder engagement.

Required competencies and certifications

• Experience developing software applications using in-memory data grids such as Oracle Coherence or similar products
• Proficiency in OOAD and UML for software design
• Familiarity with software unit testing methodologies
• Experience with various software development tools
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration technologies
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
