Job summary

EXASOFT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Java engineer in Singapore to design, develop and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.

You will drive microservices and RESTful APIs in a secure, event-driven environment with OAuth/JWT and Spring Security. Responsibilities include designing robust database schemas with Oracle and MySQL, implementing asynchronous messaging with Kafka and RabbitMQ, and building containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience designing secure RESTful APIs using Spring Security, OAuth, and JWT.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ for event streaming.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases and complex SQL queries.
• Practical experience implementing Redis caching and performance optimization.
• Experience with ELK stack for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Unit and integration testing with JUnit and Mockito.
• Knowledge of SOLID, design patterns, and DDD; distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
