Job summary

EVYONIC SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Java backend engineer to design and build enterprise-grade systems. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-enabled solutions on AWS, delivering scalable, secure services.

You'll implement REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven components with Kafka/MQTT, and containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes, while collaborating in an Agile team to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in Java development and strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures for enterprise backends.
• Hands-on experience building REST and SOAP web services.
• Practical experience with event-driven or messaging systems (MQTT, Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Experience with J2EE technologies and enterprise app servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat).
• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases (e.g., Cassandra, Oracle, MySQL).
• Experience with CI/CD automation and Jenkins-based pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and runtime environments, plus AWS services.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in Java development, with strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience developing microservices and enterprise backend applications using Java.
• Hands-on experience designing and integrating REST and SOAP web services.
• Practical experience with event-driven or messaging-based systems, particularly MQTT, Kafka, or ActiveMQ.
• Experience with J2EE technologies, including concepts such as Servlets, JSP, JDBC, EJB, or equivalent enterprise Java technologies.
• Experience working with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases, together with relational database technologies such as Oracle, DB2, or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and runtime environments.
• Experience with AWS services, preferably including AWS Lambda, S3, or EC2.
• Experience implementing application security using Spring Security, JWT, and LDAP.
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD automation.
• Experience in enterprise application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, or Tomcat.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
