Job summary

WE-PLUS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Java Developer to manage the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release. You will gather system and user requirements, build Java modules and test features before release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of proven experience as a Senior Java Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Java and related technologies (Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing, building and testing Java EE applications.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
