Job summary

MCONNECT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Software Architect / Full Stack Engineer to design and build secure, scalable enterprise applications.

The role focuses on Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and frontend work with React/Angular, with cloud deployment on AWS or Azure. The candidate will drive modernization, cloud transformation and infrastructure integration, while ensuring security and high performance in regulated environments such as banking or payments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software development or architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Extensive expertise with Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience with React and/or Angular for full-stack development.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration and API design.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps and application security.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise applications and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure enterprise applications and microservices.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and JPA/Hibernate.
• Develop and maintain frontend applications using React and/or Angular.
• Design and implement enterprise application integrations, APIs and messaging solutions.
• Integrate applications with financial systems and payment platforms.
• Design cloud-native solutions and deploy on AWS or Azure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Drive modernization, migration, cloud adoption and technology transformation.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and optimize databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL).
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development teams.
