Job summary

HTC Global Services (India) Private Limited in Singapore is seeking a Level 2 production support engineer to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents for Java-based applications within SLA. You will perform SQL queries for data validation, support EOD/BOD batch processing, deployment rollback, RCA, and application monitoring to ensure production stability.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, middleware, API Gateway and business teams to resolve issues and drive continual service

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Java-based applications and SQL data validation.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 production support for Java-based applications within SLA.
• Run SQL queries for data validation and support batch processing, deployments, RCA, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, middleware, API Gateway and business teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.
• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, runbooks, knowledge base, and prepare operational reports.
• Participate in service reviews and incident/problem management activities.

• Provide Level 2 production support for Java-based applications by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents and service requests within SLA.
• Perform SQL queries for data validation, support batch processing (EOD/BOD), deployment rollback, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and application monitoring to ensure production stability.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, middleware, API Gateway, and business teams to resolve issues and drive continuous service improvements.
• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, runbooks, knowledge base, and prepare operational reports while participating in service review and problem management activities.
• Candidates should possess relevant experience based on seniority, hands‑on knowledge of Java, Java , SQL, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
