Job summary

Unison Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for enterprise applications built with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within SLA, and collaborate with business users to share updates and preventive measures.

Qualifications

• Experience in application support, preferably in banking domain.
• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and cloud-based application support.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, JFrog, JIRA, Confluence).
• Knowledge of Python and Shell scripting for automation.
• Working experience with MariaDB/MySQL and familiarity with Elasticsearch and Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support for enterprise applications developed in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and infrastructure issues within SLA timelines.
• Work closely with business users to provide timely updates on incidents, resolutions, and preventive measures.
• Ensure application stability and availability across environments, including production.
• Perform capacity management and proactively recommend scaling and optimization measures.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, JFrog, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting for operational efficiency.
• Manage and maintain relational databases (MariaDB, MySQL) including query tuning and data management.
• Utilize Elasticsearch and Grafana for monitoring, analytics, and performance dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with DBS policies and security guidelines during production access and deployments.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to drive process and system improvements.
