Formación

• 5+ years hands-on Java development experience.
• Expertise in Java 21 and Spring Framework.
• Strong AWS cloud services experience.

• Production support, incident management, and debugging.
• Strong SQL and relational databases knowledge.
• Familiar with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, Agile.
• Experience in banking/financial services is a plus.

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS to join our technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications, ensuring system stability, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Utilise AWS cloud services to support application deployment, integration, and operations.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot application issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor application performance and ensure system availability, stability, and reliability.
• Investigate and resolve technical incidents within agreed service levels.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support application enhancements, system upgrades, and performance optimisation.
• Follow established development standards, security practices, and IT service management processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
• Strong programming knowledge in Java 21; experience with Java 17 or other recent Java versions will also be considered.
• Strong experience in Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience in REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise application development.
• Practical experience in production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
• Experience working in banking, insurance, or financial services environments will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting business-critical applications in a production environment.
• Exposure to cloud-based application deployment and monitoring.
• Knowledge of application security and performance optimisation.
• Experience working in regulated enterprise environments, particularly banking or insurance.
