You will build lasting relationships with buyers and partners, identify new opportunities, and lead a team to optimize the full sales cycle from sourcing to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Forestry, Environmental Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of international sales experience.
• Proficiency in Japanese for liaising with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute international sales strategies for timber and wood-related products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global buyers, suppliers, and partners.
• Identify new market opportunities and expand the timber trading portfolio.
• Promote sustainably sourced timber products and communicate their environmental value to clients.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from sourcing through delivery, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor timber and forestry market trends, pricing, and supply-demand dynamics.
• Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance and performance management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support logistics, compliance, and operations.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and sustainability standards (e.g., FSC).
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
