Job summary

Nextbeat Singapore Pte.Ltd. is hiring for a back-of-house cook to support the team at ION Orchard. The role involves preparing fried items, miso and other Japanese soups, chawanmushi, salads, and desserts, with a focus on mise en place and quality.

You will manage inventory, ensure hygiene and HACCP compliance, and oversee equipment maintenance in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Growth opportunities exist within a new restaurant opening team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare fried dishes (tempura, deep-fried items).
• Prepare miso soup, fish stock soup, and other Japanese soups.
• Prepare chawanmushi, salads, side dishes, and desserts.
• Handle ingredient preparation and mise en place.
• Manage inventory and ingredient ordering.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and HACCP compliance.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and care.
