Job summary

REERACOEN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Junior Trader / Investment Analyst (Japanese speaking) to support trading decisions in Japanese equity markets and conduct investment research.

The role combines market execution, in-depth analysis and quantitative problem-solving within a front-office team. The ideal candidate holds a quantitative degree, demonstrates strong numerical and analytical skills, and can liaise with Japanese colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative or STEM-related discipline
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Japanese to liaise with colleagues and clients (JLPT N1+)
• Programming experience in Python/SQL/VBA is advantageous
• Knowledge of equities/derivatives or quantitative finance is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Support execution of investment decisions in Japanese equity markets
• Monitor market movements, liquidity and order flow
• Analyze companies, industries and market data to support decisions
• Prepare concise research findings for the team
• Develop understanding of financial markets and investment strategies
