Job summary

Synapxe invites graduates to join the HealthTech Associate Programme (HAP) as Software Engineers. You will work with Systems Analysts to translate requirements into system designs, contribute to quality software delivery, testing, deployment and ongoing support.

The intake for Jan/Feb 2027 offers challenging projects, on-the-job learning and structured development within HealthTech. You will identify requirements, develop and implement applications, optimise performance, and maintain systems

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in CS/IS/CE/IT or related discipline.
• Graduating in Dec 2026.
• Strong knowledge of coding practices.
• Proficient in object-oriented programming with .NET, C#, SQL Server and ASP.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under tight timelines.
• Innovative, proactive and team-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify business needs and user requirements with stakeholders.
• Develop application concepts, interfaces and architecture.
• Implement and test applications and deploy per specifications.
• Analyse and resolve issues; apply bug fixes and document procedures.

HealthTech Associate Programme (HAP)

We tailored our graduate programme to provide graduates with a holistic experience to develop and sharpen their technical capabilities, professional and soft skills. Through HAP, you will get access to challenging projects, on-the-job learning and a series of online-based classroom training and be supported with a development framework to build and drive your career.

We are currently looking for Software Engineers for our HAP Jan/Feb 2027 intake.

Software Engineer

As a software engineer, you will work closely with the Systems Analysts to proactively understand and clarify on user requirements and translate these into system technical design. Working closely with team members, you will deliver quality software programs; participate in system quality testing, deployment and any necessary technical support upon system launch.

In this role you will:

Identify Requirement

• Support discussions with stakeholders to understand business needs and user requirements
• Support the requirements analysis and participate in technical design

Develop Applications

• Support the development of application concept, interface design, and architecture
• Support the development of program logic for new applications and features
• Use prescribed guidelines or policies to analyse and resolve problems

Implement Applications

• Support testing of the developed applications
• Deploy applications according to specifications
• Investigate issues and conduct root cause analysis
• Apply bug-fixes
• Document implementation procedures

Optimise Applications

• Collect user feedback and generate system report on application performance
• Support initiatives to improve functionality and process flow of applications
• Support the analysis and modification of design logic in existing applications
• Propose recommendations to improve application performance
• Support the integration of new products with existing applications to improve the functionality and/or design

Maintain Applications

• Support the maintenance and update of existing applications
• Support monitoring of compliance to security measures
• Solve operational problems that occur within applicationsAnalyse application usage reports
• Document the application’s technical architecture, code changes, issue resolutions and procedures

About you

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline
• Graduating in Dec 2026
• Equipped with strong knowledge of coding practices
• Good technical knowledge and experience in object-oriented programming, .Net 4.0 and above, C#, SQL Server and / or ASP
• Possess strong analytical skill and able to work under tight timelines
• Innovative, proactive and a strong team player
• Exhibit leadership qualities with good verbal and written communications skills
