Job summary

Synapxe internship in Singapore invites you to join the Infrastructure team, focusing on central log management and observability across devices. You will contribute to data-driven AI/ML improvements and surface insights through dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders and learning how to translate requirements into actionable models.

You will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, Kibana visualization, and documenting technical findings, supporting IT operations and proactive issue

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data mining and statistical analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

We are looking for intern(s) to join our Infrastructure team, which is responsible for central log management and monitoring across all devices. Using the data collected, the team builds AI/ML models to support day-to-day operations and proactively address infrastructure issues before they elevate.

The selected intern(s) will assist in following:

Stakeholder and User Analysis

• Engage with stakeholders to understand infrastructure observability needs and identify opportunities for AI/ML-driven improvements
• Translate user requirements into actionable data and modelling solutions
• Prototype and develop AI/ML models to support AIOps use cases such as root cause analysis and predictive IT maintenance
• Validate and refine models to ensure accuracy and operational relevance

Dashboard and Visualisation

• Create dashboards using Kibana to surface meaningful insights from infrastructure data
• Ensure dashboards are intuitive and useful for operational teams monitoring system health

Documentation

• Assist in creating clear technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and handover
• Contribute to the preparation of presentation materials to communicate findings and progress to the team

About You:

• Be pursuing Higher Nitec in Business Information Systems, Data Engineering, IT Systems and Networks or related discipline
• Knowledge of data mining and statistical analysis techniques
• Familiar with SQL/PL-SQL for database querying and data manipulation
• Basic programming knowledge in Python or similar languages
• Exposure to data visualisation tools, particularly Kibana or similar platforms
• Familiar with ETL pipelines and data processing methodologies
• Some interest or experience in AI/ML model development is an advantage
• Independent, fast learner, and self-driven
• Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Able to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
