Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to administer Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, VMware, and Hyper-V. You will ensure core enterprise services and security posture are maintained.

The role includes backup, disaster recovery testing, upgrades, and ongoing monitoring, with opportunities to participate in modernization projects and automation. A IT degree and hands-on VMware/Windows experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related sciences is required.
• Windows Server administration experience is required.
• 2+ years of VMware experience with HCI, ESXi, vCenter and Hyper-V; Linux/Ubuntu knowledge.
• Familiarity with VMware automation tools (VRA, VRO).
• Shell, Perl, Python or PowerShell scripting experience; patch management knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Administer and maintain Microsoft infrastructure environments including Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP.
• Manage storage provisioning, performance monitoring, capacity planning.
• Administer backup, recovery, disaster recovery testing and policy management.
• Participate in infrastructure deployment, migrations, upgrades and documentation.
• Monitor availability, performance, troubleshoot incidents and implement fixes.

Responsibility

• Administer and maintain Microsoft infrastructure environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Entra Connect, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, DFS, WSUS, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), and Hyper-V.
• Manage enterprise storage environments, including storage provisioning, performance monitoring, capacity management, Fibre Channel SAN administration, and storage expansion activities.
• Administer backup and recovery environments, including backup monitoring, recovery testing, restoration activities, disaster recovery support, and backup policy management.
• Participate in infrastructure implementation, migration, upgrade, and modernization projects, including installation, configuration, testing, deployment, documentation, and handover activities.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, and capacity, troubleshoot infrastructure-related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure service reliability.

Requirements

• Degree in any Information Technology degree or related sciences
• Windows system administration background is required
• 2+ years of VMWare experience with good knowledge on HCI (Hyper Converged Infrastructure), SDDC, ESX, VCenter and Hyper-V, Linux, Ubuntu servers
• Familiarity with VMWare automation (VRA,VRO)
• Hands-on knowledge in Shell, Perl, Python or PowerShell
• Familiarity with automated security patch and vulnerabilities management.
• Experience in VActive Directory, Domain Controller, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Proxy and Firewall servers
• Qualified in ITIL or similar qualification in Service Management is preferred
