Job summary

V-ELEGANT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Network Operations Specialist to manage LAN room operations, data centre cabling, and remote office IT setup or relocation projects.

You will travel regularly to remote offices and secured substations across Singapore to perform on-site troubleshooting of LAN and WiFi network issues, supervise vendors, assist with patching and documentation, and support IT infrastructure deployments including WAN, LAN, and WiFi services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Network Operations/Projects.
• Experience with data centre cabling and LAN/WiFi deployments.
• Experience coordinating vendors and site relocations.

Responsibilities

• Manage LAN room operations, data centre cabling and remote office IT setups.
• Travel regularly to remote offices and substations for on-site support.
• Escort and supervise vendors or contractors to ensure safety and proper work practices.
• Assist with network patching, troubleshooting and basic connectivity testing on-site.
• Support office relocations and IT infrastructure including WAN, LAN and WiFi services.
• Install, deploy, rack-mount, and troubleshoot network equipment.
• Maintain cable patching documentation and IT asset records.

Job description

Work Location- Kallang

Responsibilities

• LAN room operations, data centre cabling, and remote office IT setup or relocation project coordination
• Travelling regularly to remote offices and secured substations across Singapore to perform on-site troubleshooting of LAN and WiFi network issues.
• Escorting and supervising vendors or contractors carrying out project activities at remote offices and data centres to ensure compliance with Safety and proper work process.
• Assisting with network cable patching, troubleshooting, and basic connectivity testing on-site.
• Supporting office relocations and IT infrastructure setup, including WAN, LAN, and WiFi services.
• Performing hands-on installation, deployment, rack mounting, and troubleshooting of network equipment.
• Maintaining cable patching documentation, IT asset records, and assisting with cabling provisioning between network devices and servers within the data centre environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in Network Operations/Projects
