Job summary

Amber Creative, a Singapore-based full-service digital agency, is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead planning, execution and delivery of IT initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget results aligned with business goals. Experience with AI-driven environments and generative AI tools is a plus.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop plans, manage risks, and communicate with stakeholders. Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall and familiarity with JIRA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3+ years of experience managing IT projects, including software development or IT infrastructure initiatives.
• Proficient in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans defining scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets to guide project execution.
• Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate project documentation, status reporting, risk analysis, and stakeholder communications.
• Apply AI-assisted workflows to support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and resource forecasting, improving throughput and decision quality.
• Lead cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with project goals.
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Allocate and manage resources efficiently to meet project objectives and deadlines.
• Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and business requirements through rigorous quality assurance.
• Monitor and control project budgets to ensure efficient use of financial resources.
• Facilitate agile practices such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to enhance team productivity and project adaptability.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports, logs, and post-project evaluations for transparency and continuous learning.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process and methodology improvements to enhance project delivery, including evaluating and piloting AI-powered project management tools and automations.

Required competencies and certifications

• Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organizational and time‑management effectiveness
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to address project challenges and optimize outcomes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear stakeholder engagement and team coordination
• Familiarity with IT systems, software development lifecycles, and project management tools such as JIRA
• Working knowledge of generative AI tools and their practical application in project workflows — including prompt engineering basics, AI‑assisted drafting, and automated reporting

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Agile or SCRUM certifications (not mandatory but highly desirable for enhanced agile facilitation)
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI tools into project delivery pipelines (e.g. automated meeting summaries, AI‑generated risk logs, or LLM‑assisted scope documentation)
