Job summary

Asia Community Foundation (ACF) is a Singapore-headquartered independent giving platform accelerating philanthropy in Asia. We seek a Senior Associate/Associate to support grantmaking and impact across diverse social issues and geographies in Asia.

Reporting to the Grantmaking Operations Director, you will help manage the grant lifecycle, support due diligence, and contribute to operations, knowledge management, and cross-functional collaboration to advance ACF’s mission.

Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant nonprofit or social impact experience.
• Interest in building a career in philanthropy.
• Experience in relationship-focused roles and exposure to philanthropy is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; additional Southeast Asian language is a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with compliance awareness.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Resourceful self-starter who can work independently with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to support additional administrative or project tasks.

About ACF

Asia Community Foundation (ACF) is an independent, trusted giving platform that aims to accelerate philanthropy in Asia for greater impact. Headquartered in Singapore, ACF aims to support individuals, families, and institutions as their trusted partner in philanthropy.

Established in 2022 by a group of philanthropists from the Asia Philanthropy Circle, ACF was born out of the pressing need for a regional platform to facilitate cross-border giving in Asia. Its mission is to unlock greater philanthropic giving, connect donors with nonprofit organisations, and scale support for meaningful social impact work in Asia.

Reporting to the Grantmaking Operations Director of the Grantmaking & Impact team, Asia Community Foundation (ACF) is looking for a Senior Associate/Associate who is passionate about encouraging and facilitating collaborative giving across a variety of social issues and geographies in Asia.

Role Overview

The Senior Associate/ Associate will play a key role in the Grantmaking & Impact team , p roviding crucial support and contributing to wards ACF’s mission and strategic direction . This role involves primarily supporting the grant lifecycle, as well as operational and knowledge management needs of the Grantmaking & Impact team.

Key Responsibilities

GrantAdministration

• Work across teams within ACF to ensure smooth and efficient grant management for ACF’sfund portfolio
• Supportthe onboarding process of social impact partnersthat are inalignment with ACF’s mission and strategy;
• Timely preparation, issuance,and tracking of grant agreements to ACF’s social impact partners;
• Overseeand trackexisting grantdisbursements and reporting schedulesto prevent any lapses or disruptions ingrantcontinuity;
• Maintain partner records and grant files within internal systems,ensuringdata isaccurate,current, well organized, and reliable.
• Support due diligence, assessments, and evaluations of potential social impact partners in alignment with ACF’sstringentcompliance framework to enablehigh qualitypartnerships.

Operations and Knowledge Support

• Conductthoroughbackground research and compile issue-area information to supportgrantmakinginitiatives, donorengagementand program development
• Assistwith the preparation and coordination of communication materials related to social impact partners and programmatic initiatives for internal and external audiences.
• Provide administrative and logistical support forevents,includingonlineandin-personconvenings.
• Assistknowledge developmentefforts by preparing research summaries, partner profiles, and briefing materials

Requirements

• At leasttwo years of relevantexperience in the nonprofit or social impact sector.
• Demonstrated interest in building a career in philanthropyand/orsocial impact space.
• Experience in relationship-focused roles and/or exposure to the philanthropy sector is preferred but notrequired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;proficiencyin anadditionalSoutheast Asian language is an advantage.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability toidentifydiscrepancies and support compliance withgrantmakingrequirements.
• Ability to synthesise information from multiple sources and support problem ‑ solving efforts.
• Resourceful self-starter comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.
