Overview

We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented IT Officer to join our Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, administering IT systems, and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations of the organization’s IT infrastructure.

Candidates with hands-on experience in Mobile Device Management (Intune), Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance, or AWS infrastructure administration and support will have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and be considered for the Senior IT Officer position.

Key Responsibilities
IT Support
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other authorized applications.
  • Provide hardware support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system recovery (user data, profiles, and applications).
  • Collaborate with vendors or external support teams to resolve desktop and application issues efficiently.
Operational & Administrative Support
  • Monitor and manage helpdesk tickets, support calls, and user requests.
  • Guide end-users on basic operation of software, hardware, and peripheral equipment.
  • Administer Office 365 user accounts, email configurations, and distribution lists.
  • Manage Active Directory (AD) accounts including creation, deactivation, and password resets.
  • Support system deployment by using tools for OS imaging, configuration, and rollout.
  • Oversee backup operations, including Cohesity DataProtect with DataLock (immutable snapshots).
  • Track and maintain accurate records of hardware assets, software licenses, and IT documentation.
  • Process purchase requests, delivery orders, and invoices related to IT operations.
  • Provide backup support to the Senior IT Officer as needed.
Senior IT Officer

Candidates with relevant experience may be considered for the Senior IT Officer role, which includes:

  • Azure Active Directory administration and synchronization with on-premise AD.
  • Diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues in LAN/WAN environments.
  • Overseeing configuration and support of cloud and hybrid infrastructure (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).
Qualifications
  • Minimum Nitec, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in IT support, system, or network administration.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with good communication and customer service orientation.
  • Preferably with experience in:
    • Microsoft 365 / Azure AD administration
    • Windows Server and Active Directory environments
    • Network fundamentals (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
    • Database or web server administration (MS SQL, IIS)
